Oaths.co.za was founded by a fintech-driven South African entrepreneur who believes the future of law is built on digital trust.
Frustrated by outdated manual systems and inspired by the potential of secure LegalTech, Oaths.co.za was created to bring document certification into the 21st century — not by changing the law, but by respecting it and enabling it through smarter tools.
To achieve this, we aligned human expertise with emerging technology.
We used AI — including ChatGPT — as the perfect storm problem solver, helping us navigate complex legal, compliance and design challenges. It kept us pointed toward the True North of what the law was always intended to do: protect trust and enable access. Now, that mission is realised through secure digital innovation fit for the age we live in.
Today, Oaths.co.za is South Africa’s first to market trusted digital gateway for accessing legally certified documents — securely, conveniently and entirely online.
