By registering on Oaths.co.za™, I solemnly pledge that I understand and agree to the following terms. This declaration is a legally binding pledge and is made in full awareness of the consequences of false or unlawful conduct under South African law. 

- I am a South African citizen with a valid Smart ID Card
- I am 18 years or older
- I am registering in my own name, using my own identity
- I will only certify documents that belong to me
- I will use Oaths.co.za™ lawfully, truthfully, and in good faith
- I understand that misuse of this platform is a breach of public trust and may result in legal action

- Just as a Commissioner of Oaths is bound by law, I accept that I too carry a responsibility to uphold the law when using this platform
- I will not falsify, impersonate, or manipulate the certification process
- I understand that documents are traceable, verifiable, and permanently linked to my digital identity
- I accept that I may be blocked, disqualified, or reported to legal authorities if I break this pledge

- My account activity may be screened for fraud, sanctions, and risk by law
- I acknowledge that my actions, as recorded by the platform's verifiable audit trail, are intended to carry the highest possible evidentiary weight under South African law.
- I am responsible for any attempt to misuse this system — even if unsuccessful
