By registering on Oaths.co.za™, I make this legally binding digital declaration with full capacity under South African law, acknowledging that I understand the implications of false or unlawful conduct in relation to document certification.

I declare that:

• I am 18 years or older and have full legal capacity.
• I am a South African citizen with a valid Smart ID Card.
• I am registering in my own name and using my own identity.
• I will only certify documents that belong to me through this digital certification process.
• I will use Oaths.co.za™ lawfully, truthfully, and in good faith.
   

I understand that:

• Misuse of this platform is a breach of public trust and may result in suspension, disqualification, or legal action.
• My account may be screened for fraud, sanctions, and AML compliance as required by South African law.
• My digital actions form part of a verifiable audit trail intended to carry evidentiary weight under the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act (ECT Act).

Oaths.co.za™ allows responsible South African minors (aged 16 or older) who hold a valid Smart ID Card to register for educational and early-career purposes, such as university or job applications.

Declaration
By registering, I acknowledge that I am making a truthful and responsible declaration of intent, supported by my parent or legal guardian.

I declare that:

• I am a South African citizen aged 16 or older.
• I hold a valid Smart ID Card issued by the Department of Home Affairs.
• I am registering in my own name, with my parent or legal guardian’s consent.
• I will use Oaths.co.za™ lawfully, truthfully, and for legitimate personal purposes such as education or early-career administration.
• I understand that any misuse of this platform is a breach of trust and may lead to account suspension or reporting in accordance with law.
   

Understanding and Accountability

• My account may be reviewed to ensure compliance and security.
• My parent or guardian has read and agreed to the Guardian Consent statement below.
• I understand that this pledge does not create a legal contract, but represents my personal and ethical commitment to honesty and lawful use while under guardianship.
