• I am a South African citizen holding a valid Smart ID Card.
• I am registering in my own name using my own identity.
• I will only certify documents that belong to me or that I am legally authorised to present.
• I will use Oaths.co.za™ lawfully, truthfully, and in good faith.
   

Acknowledgement 

I understand that:

• Misuse of this platform may result in account suspension, disqualification, or legal action where applicable.
• My account may be subject to fraud prevention screening and AML / sanctions checks.
• My digital activity may form part of a verifiable audit trail maintained by Oaths.co.za™, which may support evidentiary reliability in accordance with the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act (ECTA).

Oaths.co.za™ allows responsible South African minors aged 16 or older who hold a valid South African Smart ID Card to register for lawful purposes such as university applications, bursaries, or early-career opportunities.

Registration by a minor requires the knowledge and consent of a parent or legal guardian.

Declaration
By registering on Oaths.co.za™, I confirm that I am making a truthful and responsible declaration with the support of my parent or legal guardian.

I declare that:

• I am a South African citizen aged 16 or older.
• I hold a valid Smart ID Card issued by the Department of Home Affairs.
• I am registering in my own name with the knowledge and consent of my parent or legal guardian.
• I will use Oaths.co.za™ truthfully, lawfully, and only for legitimate personal purposes, such as education or early-career applications.
   

Understanding and Accountability

 I understand that:

• My account may be reviewed or monitored to ensure security and lawful use of the platform.
• My parent or legal guardian has read and agreed to the Guardian Consent statement associated with my registration.
• This pledge represents my personal commitment to honesty and lawful use, while I remain under the guidance of my parent or legal guardian.
